Our members

We are a diverse range of grassroots and national women’s rights organizations; national and regional women’s networks; international NGOs, federations and organizations headquartered in the Global North; and individuals. We have expertise across a wide spectrum of service-provision and campaigning focus areas.

Among our organizational membership we are mandated to maintain a minimum of 70% representation of WRO members working at grassroots and national levels in the Global South, and no more than 30% representation of international members.

Feminist transformation

Feminist transformation

All of our members are feminists, committed to achieving a humanitarian system that is accessible and accountable to women, girls, gender-diverse people, and their organisations; a system that is advancing gender and social justice.

Mariam Mohamed Hussein, Hawa Feminist Coalition, Somalia

“Being a member of the Feminist Humanitarian Network means being part of a global community of like-minded activists and organizations working towards feminist approaches to humanitarian action. It is an opportunity to contribute to transformative change and ensure that humanitarian aid is inclusive, gender-responsive, and empowering.”
