FHN marks IWD2024

IWD2024

Today marks International Women’s Day (IWD), an important date in the global calendar that has a longstanding historical significance which is rooted in not only women’s rights, but also in the labour rights and voting rights movements.

IWD provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of feminist activists around the world and to loudly draw attention to the continued inequalities, injustices and gaps, that we must overcome to see true gender justice.

To mark IWD2024, the FHN reached out to some of our members, feminists working on the frontlines of humanitarian crisis, to check-in with them on important questions like what feminism means to them in 2024? and what gives them hope for the future?

You can read the full interviews below.
